Remote Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert (Contractor)

About the role

This is a remote, hourly contractor position where you will act as a Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will review AI‑generated medication and pharmacy‑related content, provide expert feedback, and help create high‑quality training data that improves AI models in clinical safety and patient communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by writing detailed prompts and gold‑standard pharmacy responses across therapeutics, drug information, counseling, and medication safety.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated answers, focusing on accuracy, clarity, safety, and clinical reasoning.
• Identify and flag errors in pharmacotherapy reasoning, dosing, contraindications, drug interactions, monitoring, and patient counseling.
• Fact‑check medical and drug information, ensuring compliance with guidelines and evidence‑based practice.
• Write clear explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct clinical reasoning.
• Test AI outputs for bias, unsafe recommendations, and reliability across diverse patient populations.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm/MPharm) with active licensure or eligibility.
• At least 5 years of professional pharmacy experience in community, hospital, ambulatory, clinical, or managed‑care settings.
• Strong grounding in pharmacology, therapeutics, medication safety, disease‑state management, and guideline‑based therapy.
• Excellent attention to detail for fact‑checking drug content and identifying unsafe assumptions.
• Minimum C1 level English proficiency.
