Production QA – Upholstery (Manufacturing Quality Assurance)

About the role

The Production QA (Upholstery) role is responsible for ensuring manufacturing quality meets WSI standards and customer expectations. Based in Bavet City, the position works closely with sourcing teams and vendors, travelling across the region to secure product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process control plans, identifying critical risks and aligning action plans with vendors.
• Conduct inspections according to WSI quality standards, manage re‑inspections, and create corrective action plans for failed SKUs/POs.
• Lead the Focus Inspection Program (FIP), train vendor QA staff, certify DQA, and monitor performance.
• Analyse customer feedback, determine root causes, and collaborate with vendors to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee PPM handovers, validate vendor inspection standards, and ensure successful documentation and sample approvals.
• Evaluate factory capabilities and quality systems of potential new suppliers, following up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on manufacturing experience in home‑furnishing, with a strong focus on furniture; upholstery experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of production processes, technologies, and quality requirements for furniture and upholstery.
• Proficiency in process evaluation techniques and supplier performance analysis.
• Understanding of product and material value chains, cost aspects, and QA/QC tools.
• Fluent in Chinese (mandatory) and proficient in English (preferred).
