Production Control Manager (FMCG)

About the role

The Production Control Manager will lead the end‑to‑end manufacturing process for fast‑moving consumer goods, ensuring that production targets are met on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role combines planning, inventory oversight, quality assurance and team leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and control daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet sales demand and capacity constraints.
• Oversee the complete production flow from raw material receipt through processing, filling, sealing, labeling, packing and finished‑goods transfer.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing and QA/QC to guarantee availability, proper storage and traceability of raw and packaging materials.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and other food‑safety standards, investigating and resolving any quality issues.
• Lead, supervise and develop the production team, managing manpower allocation, attendance, training and performance metrics.
• Maintain production equipment availability, schedule preventive maintenance and minimise downtime to improve overall efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production planning and control within an FMCG or food‑processing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality and food‑safety systems such as GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000.
• Ability to manage inventory, raw‑material flow and traceability according to approved recipes/BOM.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop a production workforce.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
