About the role
The role supports the company in sourcing new goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth shipment and customs clearance for imported items.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in exploring new markets for goods and services and reviewing specifications, delivery and payment conditions.
- Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis and prepare purchase orders or contracts for management approval.
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues such as defects, damages or returns.
- Update supplier and price databases and coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and customs clearance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
- 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance in Cambodia.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, Cambodian customs and tax regulations, preferably within the power, energy or infrastructure sector.
- Strong teamwork, negotiation and analytical abilities, and ability to work under strict deadlines.
