Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant to the Maintenance Manager to support procurement, supplier management and customs clearance activities for our operations in Phnom Penh. The role will work closely with internal departments, suppliers and transport agents to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services and review specifications, delivery and payment conditions.
• Obtain supplier quotations, prepare quote analyses and support management approval processes.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor order status, resolve defects, damages or returns, and update supplier databases.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts and related documentation, ensuring compliance with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment handling and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with the power, energy or infrastructure sector is an asset.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities and the capacity to work under strict deadlines in a multicultural team.
