Nutrition Programme Specialist

About the role

The Nutrition Programme Specialist will support UNICEF’s implementation of the Child Nutrition Fund (CNF) Multi‑Year Partnership Framework in Cambodia. Working from the UN premises in Phnom Penh, the specialist will help strengthen national nutrition systems, improve service delivery and ensure effective coordination among government agencies and development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in scaling up Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) and Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) within antenatal care.
• Support the development and strengthening of community‑based early identification and referral mechanisms.
• Contribute to improvements in nutrition information systems, workforce performance monitoring and supply chain management.
• Facilitate multi‑sectoral coordination with the Ministry of Health, National Nutrition Programme, Ministry of Economy and Finance and other stakeholders.
• Generate evidence and data to inform policy decisions, financing strategies and programme governance.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in nutrition, public health, or a related field.
• Experience working in national nutrition programmes or similar public‑health initiatives.
• Strong analytical and monitoring‑evaluation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government officials, partners and technical specialists.
