Network & System Engineer (On-site)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network & System Engineer to lead enterprise IT infrastructure projects in Phnom Penh. The role involves implementing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and security solutions while collaborating closely with customers and internal technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions (LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless, firewalls).
• Conduct site surveys, install, test and commission network equipment and perform User Acceptance Testing.
• Prepare and keep technical documentation such as network diagrams, configuration files and hand‑over reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues, providing Level 2/3 support and root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors for advanced technical assistance.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers during implementation, delivering knowledge transfer and user training.
• Collaborate with internal project teams to continuously improve service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network implementation and support.
• Strong communication skills in English and Khmer.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Cisco networking (routing, switching, CCNP preferred).
• Fortinet security solutions (NSE certification preferred).
• Aruba and Juniper networking equipment.
• Enterprise routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
• VLAN design and implementation.
• SD‑WAN and wireless networking technologies.
• Technical documentation and network diagramming.
• Additional certifications such as CCIE, NSE 8, Palo Alto, AWS or Azure are a plus.
