Network Engineer – Banking Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to ensure stable, secure connectivity for our bank’s corporate network across data centres, branches and ATM services. The role involves designing, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure while supporting shift‑based operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review, implement, maintain, migrate and document corporate network infrastructures.
• Monitor network health and performance across data centres, branches, ABA 24/7 and ATM/Cash‑In, proactively identifying solutions.
• Establish, troubleshoot and manage VPN connections with partners, vendors and customers.
• Manage and troubleshoot network security access restrictions across the corporate network.
• Set up network connectivity for new branch openings, renovations, extensions, new ABA 24/7 sites and public ATM locations.
• Support migration and new implementation projects as a networking subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies and high proficiency in network design and implementation.
• Experience with BGP, WAN/LAN technologies, routing protocols, legacy system protocols, LAN networking and DNS architectures.
• Understanding of security methodologies including firewalls, access control lists, encryption and public key infrastructure.
• Familiarity with enterprise technology infrastructure, application development, software testing and IT architecture.
• Good written and oral communication skills and willingness to work on a shift rotation.
