About the role
The Media Officer will work on‑site in Svay Rieng, handling press communications and media relations for CAMBOIDA JOB. This full‑time position supports the organization’s visibility and reputation through strategic media activities.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, edit and distribute press releases and other communication materials.
- Manage media inquiries, maintain relationships with journalists and arrange press conferences or briefings.
- Monitor media coverage, prepare activity reports and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support broader public‑relations initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong writing ability for press releases and various media formats.
- Experience in media relations and public‑relations outreach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Khmer language skills are a plus.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies or a related field.
