Thai Language Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Thai Language Specialist to work remotely on an hourly contractor basis. You will review AI‑generated Thai content, create high‑quality reference material, and provide detailed feedback to improve language quality and cultural accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by crafting prompts and gold‑standard Thai answers across various domains.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs for fluency, correctness, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Detect unsafe, misleading, or biased content and validate factual accuracy.
• Write high‑quality rewrites and model answers that demonstrate best practices in Thai writing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Linguistics, Thai/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Native or near‑native Thai proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Professional English proficiency (minimum C1) to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years of experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language‑focused work.
• Deep understanding of Thai writing conventions, spelling, punctuation, segmentation, and politeness/formality levels.
• High attention to detail for spotting subtle meaning shifts, hallucinated claims, and culturally mismatched phrasing.
