Manager, Financial Institutions

About the role

Amret is seeking a Manager, Financial Institutions to lead and expand its relationships with banks, DFIs, MFIs and other correspondent partners. The role will act as the primary liaison for all financial‑institution matters, ensuring smooth coordination of funding, compliance and treasury activities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international banks, DFIs, MFIs and correspondent partners.
• Serve as the main point of contact for FI‑related communication, coordination and negotiation.
• Conduct regular relationship reviews, monitor market trends, interest‑rate movements and competitor funding activities.
• Coordinate loan negotiations, pricing, covenant setting and facility structuring.
• Prepare documentation, due‑diligence and compliance materials for funding transactions.
• Work with Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to fulfil KYC, AML and ongoing due‑diligence requirements.
• Collaborate with Treasury on liquidity planning, interbank activities, pricing discussions and FX services.
• Lead, coach and supervise FI officers to achieve departmental goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in treasury management, financial operations or banking.
• Experience in FX management, operations and reconciliation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial instruments and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead a team, manage cross‑functional projects and adapt to regulatory and technological changes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Khmer and English.
