Legal Officer

About the role

The Legal Officer will support the organization by managing all aspects of contract lifecycle, from drafting to monitoring performance. This role works closely with internal teams, suppliers, contractors and customers to ensure legal compliance and protect the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, service providers, contractors and customers.
• Monitor implementation of agreements, track compliance and handle any disputes that arise.
• Verify contractual performance against terms and conditions and ensure records are securely entered into the company database.
• Prepare official letters and legal documents in both Khmer and English for government agencies, banks and clients.
• Conduct legal research, translate documents when required and coordinate with team members and managers.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Legal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in contract administration or a similar legal role.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
• Good knowledge of construction materials industry, contract and construction law.
• Honest, flexible, hardworking and well‑coordinated.
