Lab Registrar

About the role

The Lab Registrar will work on‑site at Premium Laboratory in Phnom Penh, handling patient registration and ensuring accurate entry of test requests into the laboratory information system. This full‑time position supports clinicians and patients by managing specimen flow and maintaining reliable documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Register patients and enter test requests accurately into the laboratory information system.
• Verify patient identification and clinical information before sample processing.
• Coordinate receipt, labeling, and tracking of specimens.
• Communicate test requirements, preparation instructions, and turnaround times to clinicians and patients.
• Handle phone and counter inquiries, providing courteous customer service.
• Assist with daily reporting, filing, data archiving, and billing documentation.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma; associate degree or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, clinicians, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical conduct, and quality‑safety standards.
