Junior Payable Accountant

About the role

The Junior Payable Accountant will support payment processing, bookkeeping, and cash reconciliation activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and Cambodian tax regulations. This entry‑level position works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process payments and respond to OVS requests in line with company policies and Cambodian taxation.
• Create and integrate invoice journals, update payment status, and download TT slips.
• Control petty‑cash transactions and record them in the accounting system.
• Perform weekly and monthly cash reconciliations, including bank charges and inter‑bank transfers.
• Support monthly bank reconciliation and reconcile ending balances for cash, deposits, advances, and payables.
• Collect original invoices and supporting documents from suppliers, file them month‑by‑month, and assist with invoice journal creation.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting activities, policies, and taxation.
• Good command of English for communication with stakeholders.
