Internal Audit Executive – Financial Controls

About the role

The Internal Audit Executive is responsible for reviewing NagaWorld’s financial reporting systems and policies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all applicable audit standards. This role supports the organization’s commitment to robust internal controls and ethical conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk‑based audit programs aligned with the approved audit plan.
• Assess the adequacy of operational and financial internal controls across business units.
• Identify control weaknesses, bottlenecks, and workflow inconsistencies, and recommend practical improvements.
• Document audit work in detailed working papers and prepare comprehensive audit findings with supporting evidence.
• Ensure compliance with NagaWorld’s standards, industry regulations, and the Code of Conduct.
• Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and monitor follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Candidate pursuing ACCA or a comparable accounting qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of internal or external audit experience in a listed company or public accounting firm.
• Strong analytical mindset, logical thinking, and effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus.
