Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Finance & Accounting team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing critical areas such as accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), inventory accounting for office supplies and warehouse stock, monthly close, tax reporting, and audit readiness. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) processes.
• Oversee accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Manage inventory accounting for office supplies and warehouse stock.
• Execute monthly close procedures.
• Prepare and file tax reports.
• Ensure audit readiness.
• Support internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax regulations.
• Contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on accounting experience covering AP, AR, inventory, and tax compliance.
• Experience with operational and office inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Sound understanding of Cambodian accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in both Khmer and English.
