About the role

The Insurance Coordinator and Business Development Support is a full‑time, on‑site position at Orchid Hospital in Chamkar Mon. The role ensures smooth health‑insurance processes for patients while supporting business development initiatives that improve patient access and hospital services.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and manage pre‑authorisations.
• Process insurance claims accurately and ensure timely submission.
• Maintain relationships with insurance providers and respond to their inquiries.
• Provide patients and families with clear information about coverage and financial responsibilities.
• Prepare reports on insurance trends and assist with partner outreach.
• Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to keep records up‑to‑date and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of health‑insurance policies, coverage, and billing procedures.
• Experience handling insurance claims, submissions, and follow‑up with insurers.
• Excellent customer‑service skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
• Effective verbal and written communication for interacting with patients, insurers, and internal teams.
• Relevant administrative or healthcare experience; hospital or clinical background is a plus.
