Grants and Fundraising Officer

About the role

ISF Cambodia, a charity founded in 2004 that uses education and sport to help the poorest and most disadvantaged children and families in Cambodia, is looking for a Grants and Fundraising Officer within its Development Team. The officer builds a pipeline of prospective funders, generates new income from trusts, foundations, companies and high-net-worth individuals, and promotes ISF through award applications. The role reports directly to the Senior Development Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities, focusing on the US market, and nurture relationships with individual donors, corporations, trusts and foundations
• Support proposal development, including drafting budgets and editing contributions and reports
• Manage donor relationships, reporting and compliance, and ensure timely donor reports and communications
• Keep comprehensive records of donations, grant funding and fundraising activities on Salesforce and Google Drive
• Produce, proof and edit grant-related communications and reports, and coordinate punctual events
• Support ad-hoc fundraising functions and ensure compliance with donor and ISF rules

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a donor-facing role, including fundraising, proposal writing and reporting
• Formal qualification or training in International Development or a related field
• Native-level English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Track record of securing major gifts and writing high-quality funding proposals and reports
• Self-motivated, solution-focused, outgoing and persuasive

Required skills

• Desirable: CRM (Salesforce) experience
• Desirable: strong financial management, budgeting and reporting
• Desirable: experience monitoring and evaluating donor-funded projects

• 40 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings, weekends and occasional travel
