Area Sales Executive – Construction Chemicals

About the role

Botica Cambodia, a leading construction chemicals company founded in 2006 and producing products made with Australian technology, is hiring Area Sales Executives for Phnom Penh and several provinces including Battambang, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Takeo, Kampong Speu, Preah Vihear, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham and Sihanoukville. The goal is to expand distribution and sales across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out sales activities to increase distribution and sales in the assigned area.
• Achieve sales targets by expanding the network of distributors, dealers, retail outlets and project accounts.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, customers, project clients and construction buyers.
• Manage the sales process: finding new customers, negotiating, closing deals and related services.
• Follow up on credit and collections to ensure timely payments and healthy cash flow.
• Increase product visibility in retail stores and run promotional activities.
• Visit markets regularly, check competitors and prepare sales reports.

Required profile

• Secondary school level or higher; a degree in business management, marketing, sales or a related field is an advantage.
• At least 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction chemicals, paints or building materials.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Active, self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to travel and work under pressure.
• Ability to use computer software for administration or sales tools.
