Fleet Frontline Supervisor

About the role

The Fleet Frontline Supervisor leads daily fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient and customer‑focused transportation services. This role coordinates trip planning, vehicle allocation, driver deployment and GPS monitoring to meet client demands while optimizing fleet utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily fleet operations, ensuring timely service delivery and resolving operational issues.
• Plan and schedule vehicle and driver assignments based on client requirements and route optimization.
• Oversee GPS monitoring to maintain trip visibility, investigate delays or deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing service issues and ensuring contractual compliance.
• Manage driver performance, attendance and compliance, providing coaching and briefings.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to guarantee fleet readiness and availability.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, client requirements and company safety standards.
• Monitor operational KPIs, prepare performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Lead and develop the Frontline and GPS Monitoring teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations, transportation or logistics.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Proven ability to manage vehicle allocation, route planning and driver coordination.

Required skills

• Experience with GPS tracking systems.
• Proficiency in fleet management software.
