Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial analysis, budgeting and reporting activities for Bureau Veritas Cambodia, ensuring accuracy, compliance and cost efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse productivity dashboards, identify issues and propose solutions.
• Compare operating expenses against budget and prior year, drive cost‑saving initiatives and lead savings projects.
• Evaluate investment projects using market surveys and financial criteria.
• Coach and monitor accounting and invoicing teams to improve efficiency, finance and tax knowledge.
• Oversee Cambodia‑wide finance, expenses, compliance, budget and forecast preparation, collaborating with other departments for consolidation.
• Ensure timely, accurate internal and external financial reporting.
• Monitor purchase and inventory of lab consumables and maintain precise bookkeeping, fixed‑asset records and audit‑ready documentation.
• Supervise expense classification in accounting software and enforce relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
• Implement accounting and audit standards and support regional finance as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management.
• Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, risk assessment, budgeting and forecasting.
• In‑depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance and audit standards.
• Leadership and coaching abilities with attention to detail.
• CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with financial/accounting software.
• CPA or ACCA certification (preferred).
