Executive Housekeeper – Expat Opportunity in Phnom Penh

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper will lead the housekeeping department of a large integrated gaming and entertainment resort in Phnom Penh. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and guest comfort across all guest rooms and public areas while managing a sizable team of housekeeping staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal staffing levels by monitoring occupancy rates and conducting regular staff meetings.
• Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities to meet safety and hygiene standards.
• Lead, motivate and develop the housekeeping team, delivering training on emergency procedures and service standards.
• Develop and implement operational plans, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Manage inventory of uniforms, linens and supplies, maintaining appropriate par levels.
• Implement cost‑control measures without compromising service quality.
• Collaborate with other department managers to resolve guest requests and complaints promptly.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing housekeeping and laundry operations in a large‑scale international hotel or resort.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training programmes that improve staff performance.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English proficiency.

• Opera property management system.
