Executive, Finance and Administration

About the role

We are looking for an Executive in Finance and Administration to manage insurance receivables, payments and related accounting activities. The role will ensure timely recovery of outstanding balances, accurate reporting and compliance with IFRS 9 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control insurance receivables, payables and collections.
• Perform daily receipting and bank statement reconciliation.
• Monitor aged debtors and follow up with sales, underwriting, agents and brokers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on balances, aging, impairments and collection status.
• Distribute monthly Statements of Account accurately and on time.
• Support credit control decisions with payment, claims and account performance analysis.
• Calculate monthly impairments in line with IFRS 9.
• Process payments to policyholders and intermediaries and maintain accounting records.
• Manage staff advances, petty cash and related journal entries.
• Maintain audit‑ready records and perform ad‑hoc duties assigned by the Head of Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Finance.
• Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
