Customs Clearance Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Customs Clearance Team Leader to oversee import customs processes and ensure accurate documentation. The role requires a professional attitude when interacting with internal and external customers and the ability to coordinate daily activities to meet operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous and helpful service to internal and external customers.
• Build cooperative relationships with operational teams and offer solutions as needed.
• Gather accurate information from customers and networks before and after flight arrivals.
• Prepare and submit import customs declarations accurately and on time.
• Update shipment information and status in the system promptly.
• Maintain customer databases and ensure data integrity.
• Resolve disputes and advise customers on technical issues.
• Investigate and handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions.
• Notify customers of duties, taxes, and charges that exceed credit limits.
• Keep up‑to‑date knowledge of customs practices and procedures.
• Prepare internal reports as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Khmer and English.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customs clearance environment with solid knowledge of customs regulations.
• Strong supervisory, coaching, reporting and presentation abilities.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
