Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement & Shipment Operator to support market exploration, supplier management, and the coordination of import shipments and customs clearance for our projects in Cambodia.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring new markets for goods and services and reviewing specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis, and prepare documentation for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service execution according to approved purchase requests and contracts.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases, including contact details and source information.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages, or returns and communicate status updates to requestors.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and service contracts for departmental approval and ensure proper record retention.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs departments to manage shipment schedules and ensure timely customs clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment coordination, and customs clearance with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, technical specifications, Cambodian customs regulations, and tax provisions.
• Strong teamwork abilities in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical skills; familiarity with mechanical or electrical engineering concepts is an asset.
