Customs Clearance Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Customs Clearance Shift Supervisor ensures the smooth operation of the clearance department during assigned shifts, managing rosters and overseeing shipment processing to meet performance standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work rosters and supervise clearance activities to guarantee timely pre‑clearance or post‑clearance of shipments.
• Monitor compliance with customs regulations, customer instructions, and internal policies.
• Assist the Customs Clearance Manager in implementing standard procedures and corrective actions.
• Track performance metrics and support the development of improvement plans.
• Oversee duty and tax payments, ensuring proper controls to prevent misuse.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in customs clearance within logistics, international transportation or brokerage.
• Fluent in English and Khmer (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong leadership, negotiation and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Competent use of Internet and email tools.
