Customer Service Specialist – Export Nomination

About the role

The Customer Service Specialist will manage export shipments from booking through dispatch, coordinating with overseas agents, airlines, and shipping lines. The role includes financial oversight and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage nominated Air and Ocean Freight export shipments from booking to dispatch.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, customers, airlines, shipping lines, and vendors.
• Handle schedules, bookings, shipping documents, pre‑alerts and monitor shipment progress.
• Operate CargoWise, carrier/airline portals, agent portals and e‑AWB/EDI platforms.
• Ensure compliance with ICS2/ENS filings and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage invoicing, job costing, shipment P&L and file closing.
• Supervise and train the CS team, maintain SOPs and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of freight forwarding experience, preferably in export nomination.
• Strong knowledge of overseas agent coordination and Air/Ocean Freight export operations.
• Hands‑on experience with CargoWise and carrier/airline systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
