Head of Continuing Airworthiness

About the role

The Head of Continuing Airworthiness will lead the CAMO function for Avi8 Airways, ensuring the fleet remains airworthy, compliant and safely maintained. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Phnom Penh and reports to senior airline management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor maintenance programmes, reliability systems and airworthiness directives for the entire fleet.
• Manage aircraft technical records, coordinate inspections, modifications and corrective actions with maintenance providers.
• Collaborate with flight operations, engineering, safety and regulatory authorities to resolve technical issues and support fleet planning.
• Lead, mentor and develop the airworthiness and technical records team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of continuing airworthiness regulations, CAMO requirements and international standards (ICAO, EASA, local CAA).
• Experience in aircraft maintenance planning, reliability analysis and maintenance programme development for commercial airlines.
• Background in safety management systems, quality assurance and audit processes within an airline or MRO environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Part‑66/147) highly desirable.
