Credit Operations Officer

About the role

The Credit Operations Officer is responsible for executing daily credit transactions in the bank's Core Banking System, ensuring that all loan disbursements, settlements, amendments, and collateral activities are accurately recorded according to approved credit resolutions and legal documents.

Key responsibilities

• Implement loan requests received via the Loan Origination System (LOS) or email into the Core Banking System.
• Review legal and supporting documents against credit resolutions before data entry.
• Create and release collateral pools, facility limits, transfers, and guarantor records as requested by branches.
• Block, release, and amend loan amounts, ensuring compliance with approved terms.
• Issue cash or cheques for refinancing transactions and follow up with branches to confirm completion.
• Post collateral information in Power Application and consolidate daily performance reports.
• Control end‑of‑day transactions to guarantee no pending items remain.
• Prepare loan files for the Credit Monitoring Team and coordinate with the Credit Administrative Unit for document scanning and uploading.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Honest, positive attitude, quick learner, intelligent and obedient.
• Proficiency in both Khmer and English.
