About the role
CARE is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Country Director for Cambodia. This senior position will guide the organization’s strategic direction, program delivery, and partnership development to improve the lives of vulnerable communities, especially women and girls.
Key responsibilities
- Provide overall strategic leadership for CARE’s operations in Cambodia.
- Ensure high‑quality program implementation and operational performance.
- Lead resource mobilization and fundraising efforts.
- Represent CARE at national and international forums, influencing policy and building strategic alliances.
- Oversee staff management, fostering a high‑performing and inclusive team.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong understanding of the Cambodian socio‑political environment.
- Demonstrated ability to secure funding and manage large‑scale programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
