Commercial Lead – Business Development & Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Lead to drive growth in our e‑commerce division. You will shape market strategy, identify new business opportunities and ensure revenue generation through strong merchant relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Analyze data to develop insights and recommendations for business growth.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and alliances aligned with company goals.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans for the e‑commerce sector.
• Design retention and order‑management strategies for merchants.
• Own revenue targets generated through merchant accounts.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key merchants.
• Provide product development input based on market feedback and customer insights.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create e‑commerce solutions that meet market needs.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in commercial, strategic account management, business development or sales, with a proven track record managing large, complex accounts.
• Strong leadership and managerial abilities to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
