Assistant Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Procurement Officer to support our procurement and inventory functions. The role involves handling purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and ensuring accurate data entry in our LS NAV system.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and post Transfer Order item quantities from stores with the JWD dispatch report and import them into LS NAV.
• Create purchase orders from the Marketing team, verify prices and quantities, and raise sales orders in LS NAV for accounting verification.
• Prepare weekly service‑charge reports, confirming delivery quality for all stores.
• Monitor, post and validate supplier invoices in LS NAV on the day of receipt, ensuring they match quotations and order lists.
• Reconcile warehouse inbound/outbound movements and purchase orders with the Cost Account team each month.
• Identify and resolve inventory issues, reporting them to the Procurement Manager.
• Transfer invoices and related documents to Accounting for payment processing.
• Support inventory control at the JWD warehouse, checking temperature, location, CBM calculations and minimizing expired stock.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory Control and Operations to manage near‑expiry, non‑moving and low‑consumption items.

Required profile

• Experience with procurement and inventory control processes.
• Familiarity with LS NAV (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) for order and invoice management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile data accurately.
