Assembly Group Leader

About the role

The Assembly Group Leader is responsible for overseeing the back‑end of the manufacturing line, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining Jabil’s high workmanship standards. This role coordinates staffing, manages changeovers, and drives continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Manufacturing Supervisor to plan line workload and staffing based on product priority.
• Monitor the CIQ system and address repetitive problems immediately.
• Organize and execute efficient changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Maintain proper stock levels of supplies and equipment, and ensure accurate documentation is available on the line.
• Provide timely feedback to employees, track production schedules, and ensure all safety and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Motivate and certify line personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two to six years of experience in a Jabil production role or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing is strongly preferred.
