Assembly Technician

About the role

Jabil is seeking an Assembly Technician to support its molding production line. The role focuses on maintaining high yields, ensuring equipment reliability, and executing rapid tool changes according to the production schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections and review tasks to sustain process yields above 95%.
• Respond to equipment alarms, document changes, and carry out repairs as directed by daily priorities.
• Maintain accurate production logs and reporting information.
• Conduct daily mold cleanings following Process Binders.
• Execute shutdown, close‑out, and restart activities, submitting data to Quality.
• Coordinate with Production Control to keep the Rapid Tool Change (RTC) calendar up to date.
• Carry out all RTC events using the RTC Checklist.
• Train and guide less‑experienced personnel as assigned by the Molding Team Leader.
• Monitor workplace safety and supervise the environment.
• Create and process work orders for damaged equipment requiring repair.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
