Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer will act as the bridge between Dahua’s product portfolio and its channel customers. You will introduce new features, guide product selection, and ensure successful configuration and deployment of CCTV and networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce new product features to channel customers and assist with product selection and configuration.
• Recommend suitable models based on customers’ BOQ lists and specific requirements.
• Provide timely technical support to resolve customer issues.
• Conduct training for channel customers’ technical staff to improve their capabilities.
• Gather customer feedback and product demands, reporting them to the product department.
• Collaborate with sales to analyze needs and deliver comprehensive project solutions.
• Participate in project execution and bidding, assisting with tender documents and compliance.
• Track project progress, assess risks, and propose effective solutions.
• Coordinate internal resources to deliver strong technical support throughout implementation.
• Work with marketing to promote Dahua’s technology, enhance customer understanding, and collect market feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support or engineering roles.
• Background in networking, communications, computer systems, or related fields.
• Prior experience with CCTV systems and familiarity with camera, DVR/NVR setup is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common network diagnostic tools (e.g., Sniffer, NCOM).
• Knowledge of router, switch, and IP configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking, listening); Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• Experience delivering product presentations or training is an advantage.
