Senior Manager, Priority Banking

About the role

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Senior Manager for its Priority Banking division. The role focuses on growing high‑net‑worth client relationships, driving fee income, and leading a team to deliver superior service across Malaysia and regional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Grow new and existing priority banking customers to meet bank objectives.
• Increase fee income from FX, DCD, OTT and MasterCard spend.
• Manage pricing efficiency to reduce cost of funds on rollovers.
• Drive cross‑selling of PFS loan products and other consumer banking solutions.
• Lead and coach the Priority Banking team, providing training and mentorship.
• Develop and propose new initiatives, strategic relationships, and product enhancements.
• Maintain strong networking with high‑net‑worth clients to promote banking products.
• Support transaction banking needs for priority customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑8 years of banking experience, leading deposit sales teams, especially in priority banking.
• Strong knowledge of serving high‑net‑worth and foreign customers.
• Excellent planning, organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven leadership, motivation and coaching abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, banking or related field.
