Credit Controller

About the role

The Credit Controller will work full‑time on‑site in Phnom Penh, ensuring that customer accounts are monitored, credit limits are reviewed and outstanding debts are collected in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and review credit limits regularly.
• Contact customers with overdue payments and negotiate repayment arrangements.
• Analyze credit risk and prepare regular reports on debtors and aging of accounts.
• Collaborate with finance and sales teams to resolve disputes and minimise bad debt.
• Update account information and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Support continuous improvement of credit control procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit control, credit management and debt collection.
• Solid foundation in finance to interpret financial data and support risk assessment.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for clear interaction with customers and internal teams.
• Experience in microfinance or banking and familiarity with Cambodian financial regulations is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Phnom Penh, meet deadlines and uphold high ethical standards.
