Senior Business & Product Development Officer

About the role

The Rural Development Bank is seeking a dynamic Senior Business & Product Development Officer to lead the creation, enhancement, and launch of innovative banking products and services. This senior position will work closely with multiple departments to ensure the bank remains competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive innovation, creation, and enhancement of the bank’s products and financial services.
• Partner with relevant departments to design, develop, and launch new products and services.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on banking trends and financial products at local, regional, and global levels.
• Review and update existing products to keep them competitive and aligned with market needs.
• Formulate comprehensive Terms & Conditions and compile all related product documentation.
• Supervise, review, and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff to foster growth and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2‑3 years of professional experience in product or business development within the banking/financial sector.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, lead junior staff, and meet deadlines under pressure.
