Senior Legal and Compliance Executive

About the role

The Senior Legal and Compliance Executive will lead the legal and regulatory compliance function for Orienda Polyclinic and Maternity, a private hospital in Stueng Mean Chey, Cambodia. Reporting to senior management, this full‑time, on‑site position ensures that all hospital operations meet national laws, healthcare regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Advise management on legal risks and provide practical solutions.
• Develop, implement and maintain compliance frameworks and procedures.
• Monitor changes in healthcare legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Provide guidance on ethical practices and support staff training on compliance topics.
• Collaborate with external regulators, legal counsel and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Law degree (Bachelor’s or higher) with solid experience applying legal principles in a healthcare or corporate environment.
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within hospitals or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong analytical ability to assess legal risks and propose actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with clinical and non‑clinical teams.
• Professional certifications in compliance or healthcare law are a plus.
• Fluency in English and Khmer, with strong report‑writing and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Stueng Mean Chey, manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
