Senior IT and Card Audit Officer

About the role

The Senior IT and Card Audit Officer will lead a team of auditors to assess the bank’s technology environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards and industry best practices. This role focuses on IT, card systems, digital platforms, information security and cybersecurity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls for IT, card, digital, information security and cybersecurity.
• Develop and apply audit procedures and techniques to test control efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assess implementation of policies, procedures, regulations and legal requirements related to technology and risk management.
• Identify operational risks, scope reviews appropriately, and provide assurance through high‑quality audit reports.
• Engage professionally with business units, secure line‑management buy‑in, and manage differing opinions during audit assignments.
• Communicate audit progress, findings, and open recommendations to senior management.
• Validate management action plans and follow up on remediation of identified issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT audit, IT security, IT risk management, or related disciplines.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC or ISO27001 Lead Auditor (preferred or in progress).
• Proven ability to manage audit or risk projects and influence senior managers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills in both Khmer and English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple audits simultaneously.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards: NIST, PCI DSS, Cobit2019 and ISO27001.
• Professional certifications: CISA, CRISC, ISO27001 Lead Auditor.
• Experience with IT audit methodologies, risk assessment and control testing.
• Fluency in Khmer and English, both written and spoken.
