QA & Software Tester

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated QA / Software Tester to join our R&D team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our multi‑layered platform, which includes web applications, mobile apps, and backend processing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze product requirements to design and execute comprehensive test plans, matrices and end‑to‑end testing strategies.
• Partner with product managers and developers to translate functional requirements into structured test scenarios, cases and edge‑case validations.
• Design, construct and maintain a Master Test Book containing detailed step‑by‑step scripts, regression suites and expected results.
• Collaborate with developers, ITOps and product owners to resolve cross‑functional issues and ensure smooth release deployments.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and UI testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Validate data processing workflows, pipelines and backend logs for accuracy and integrity.
• Test backend RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman to verify payloads, response codes and logic.
• Identify, document, track and verify software defects with clear reproducible bug reports.
• Assist in basic load and stress testing to ensure system stability under concurrent users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing / quality assurance.
• Hands‑on experience testing web applications (cross‑browser) and mobile applications (iOS/Android), both manually and with automation tools.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC and agile tracking tools.
• Familiarity with Git ecosystems (GitHub or GitLab) for aligning testing workflows with release branches.
• Proficient SQL skills for querying and validating complex relational databases.
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python or JavaScript is a plus for writing test scripts or automation components.
