Senior Accounting Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Officer to join our finance team in Phnom Penh. The role focuses on managing inventory accounting, ensuring accurate cost allocation, and supporting the Finance Manager with regular reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain data in the QuickBooks (QB) system.
• Check stock in and out in QB, reconcile with sales reports and delivery orders.
• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
• Ensure production costs are correctly recorded in cost of sales and inventory.
• Perform stock transfers and create new items in QB.
• Verify weekly and monthly stock reports with the stock controller for vehicles, spare parts, water purifiers, and showroom items.
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock audits.
• Prepare monthly closing reports for the management team.
• Execute tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar, management‑level accounting position.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate workload impacts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks (QB) accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and cost accounting.
• Experience in inventory and stock management.
