Senior Accountant and Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant and Tax Specialist to join our professional services team in Phnom Penh. This full‑time, on‑site position will manage accounting records and ensure tax compliance for a diverse portfolio of corporate and individual clients operating in Cambodia.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily transactions, maintaining accurate general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• File corporate and individual tax returns in accordance with Cambodian regulations.
• Advise clients on tax planning, compliance and respond to tax authority inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve accounting and tax processes.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in local tax laws and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong experience in general ledger, bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
• Hands‑on experience with tax compliance and preparation for corporate and individual clients.
• Ability to interpret and apply Cambodian accounting and tax regulations.
• High level of accuracy, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication in English; Khmer proficiency is an advantage.
