Senior Tax Consultant

About the role

DFDL is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join its fast‑growing tax practice in Phnom Penh. You will work closely with the Assistance Tax Manager and Tax Manager, providing high‑quality tax advice and supporting clients on compliance and audit matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft letters of advice, tax opinions and other instruments for clients.
• Assist with tax compliance, tax audits and related matters.
• Research tax and customs issues and keep up to date with legislative developments.
• Prepare fee proposals, maintain time records, review invoices and support collections.
• Peer‑review junior staff work, provide coaching and supervise their activities.
• Contribute to business development by building client relationships, writing articles and delivering training.

Required profile

• University degree and excellent written and spoken English.
• Enthusiastic attitude, attention to detail and high integrity.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and committed to confidentiality.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a professional services environment (preferred).
• Experience in a multicultural workplace and additional language skills are a plus.
