School Director

About the role

The School Director at Baksey Media leads the daily operations of the school located in Voat Phnum, Cambodia. This full‑time, on‑site role is responsible for shaping academic programs, supervising teaching staff, and delivering high‑quality learning experiences that align with the organization’s mission to empower local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily school operations, including curriculum design, program scheduling, and budget management.
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff, fostering a positive learning culture and continuous improvement.
• Develop and update curricula, set educational standards, and monitor outcomes to ensure relevance to Cambodian business needs.
• Coordinate training schedules, manage resources, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Engage with learners, partners, and community stakeholders, representing the school in external engagements.

Required profile

• Strong background in education and educational leadership with experience managing academic or training institutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, training design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Experience coaching and mentoring educators to improve teaching quality and learner outcomes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in education, management, or a related field.
• Experience working in Cambodia or similar contexts with cultural awareness and a learner‑centered approach.
• Ability to work on‑site in Voat Phnum and commit to full‑time leadership responsibilities.
