Relationship Manager – Wholesale Client Relations

About the role

The Relationship Manager will drive the achievement of wholesale targets by onboarding new clients and nurturing existing relationships. Working closely with medium‑to‑high value customers, the role focuses on understanding their needs, removing barriers to purchase, and ensuring compliance with BVM’s sales terms.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve wholesale sales targets set by the company.
• Onboard new clients, conduct visits to medium/high‑value accounts, and identify obstacles to purchasing.
• Generate leads, lead conversion, and manage the sales enablement process (valid SPA, credit limits, compliance with terms).
• Address client‑specific requirements such as tank or dispenser borrowing, VAT claim facilitation, and provide professional oil‑trading advice.
• Manage client credit, monitor arrears, conduct timely credit reviews, and resolve credit breaches.
• Develop strategic sales proposals for geographic expansion, including location assessments and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field with analytical/credit focus.
• Minimum 3 years of corporate or business lending experience, covering both sales/relationship management and credit proposal preparation.
• Outgoing personality, confident problem‑solver, and strong team player.
• Excellent English communication skills and solid knowledge of industry trends.
