Relationship Manager Corporate Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking will acquire and manage corporate client relationships, delivering lending and trade‑finance solutions that drive portfolio growth and fee‑based income for the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new trade‑finance clients across products such as factoring, supply‑chain finance, revolving facilities and franchising.
• Generate fee‑based income from guarantees, letters of credit and remittances.
• Assess loan applications, prepare comprehensive credit memos and ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies.
• Collect and verify supporting documentation, conduct site visits and discuss proposals with borrowers.
• Monitor loan reviews, post‑disbursement conditions and ensure timely filing of corporate borrower documents.
• Liaise with Credit Administration Department for issuance of letters of undertaking and loan releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate/commercial banking, SME banking, trade finance, credit analysis or relationship management.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing corporate or SME clients and meeting business targets.
• Strong understanding of corporate lending, trade finance, guarantees, letters of credit and credit assessment.
• Good knowledge of banking regulations, credit policies and risk management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent English; additional Chinese language skills are a plus.
