Property Officer – Facility Management

About the role

The Property Officer will oversee the maintenance, repair and renovation of branch and office facilities, ensuring that all works are completed on time, within budget and according to approved plans. You will act as the main liaison between internal teams and external contractors, supporting smooth property operations across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate contractors for maintenance, repair and project work.
• Conduct site inspections and follow‑up on maintenance activities.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and ensure timely completion.
• Support branch and office teams by resolving facility‑related issues.
• Maintain security systems, building equipment and overall office facilities.
• Coordinate renovations, fit‑outs, repairs and workspace arrangements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports on property activities.
• Draft basic floor plans and 2D layouts for space planning.
• Obtain quotations, compare costs and negotiate with vendors.
• Assist in managing contracts, service agreements and vendor performance.
• Maintain property records, maintenance documents and filing systems.
• Organise meetings and appointments related to facility management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking sector or a similar environment.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and scheduling abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solver with good interpersonal skills.
• High integrity, commitment and flexibility, including occasional night‑time travel to branches.
