Project Support Intern

About the role

Join TRG International as a Project Support Intern in Phnom Penh, where you will assist project teams with documentation, basic financial analysis, and coordination of meetings. This role is ideal for postgraduate students or recent graduates looking to gain hands‑on experience in business processes and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, action logs, and follow‑up trackers.
• Assist in mapping business processes and creating simple flow diagrams.
• Apply basic finance and accounting concepts to support cost and revenue tracking.
• Provide bilingual (Khmer/English) communication support for project discussions.
• Coordinate local workshops, stakeholder follow‑ups, and meeting logistics.
• Organise and archive project records, ensuring they are up‑to‑date and easily accessible.
• Prepare basic reports and presentation decks under guidance.
• Escalate risks, delays, or unclear requirements to project and account managers.

Required profile

• Postgraduate student or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Basic understanding of business processes and finance/accounting concepts.
• Strong documentation, organisational and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in Khmer and Business English.
• Ability to work under supervision in a structured project environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
