Associate – Internal Audit (Electrical Audit)

About the role

The Associate, Internal Audit (Electrical Audit) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Phnom Penh. You will support the planning and execution of internal audits that focus on electrical systems, digital power solutions, and related financial processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and carrying out internal audits of electrical and digital power projects.
• Review documentation, perform field inspections, and evaluate internal controls.
• Prepare clear audit working papers and comprehensive reports for management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify risks, recommend improvements, and monitor remediation actions.
• Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies and ensure adherence to relevant standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities to assess audit findings and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of internal audit principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and capacity to manage multiple assignments.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, engineering licenses) are a plus.
